Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. We also use similar technology, such as local storage (localStorage) in the browser, for certain settings. The Boannons iOS and Android app does not show a cookie banner and we do not load analytics tools — the app uses only necessary cookies for sign-in and function.
Boannons.se uses cookies and similar technology to:
Required for basic functions such as sign-in, security and load balancing. These cannot be switched off in the Service without affecting functionality.
We store your cookie consent (cookie-consent) and theme choice (via next-themes, usually in localStorage) so the page behaves consistently between visits. The language choice is stored in the cookie boannons_locale for up to one year, so the site opens in the language you last chose. A listing draft and ids for favourites can sit in localStorage until they belong to an account.
If you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner, Vercel Analytics and PostHog are enabled for traffic and product statistics. PostHog is reached through our address /ingest and receives data in the EU (eu.posthog.com). A random id can be stored in localStorage (boannons_ph_distinct_id) to tell visits apart, not to name you. We do not use Google Analytics. If you choose “Necessary only”, the analytics tools are not loaded.
Some functions run through suppliers (for example Supabase for sign-in, Stripe for payment, Vercel for hosting and analytics, PostHog for product analytics and Cloudflare Turnstile on certain forms as protection against spam). They may set their own cookies or the equivalent to the extent needed for the function. OpenAI is used on the server side for AI features and does not normally set a cookie in your browser. Please read each supplier’s documentation.
